Silodesign™ was founded in 2003 by Romain Gauthrot. Its goal is to promote innovation and creativity in the field of tableware.
Silodesign™ is notably the originator of double-walled borosilicate glass insulated glasses and mugs. We have also innovated with the creation of hemispherical bowls mounted on silicone bases, and with five-pronged "Branch" forks.
Thanks to its strengths, Silodesign™ has acquired a prestigious reputation among its clientele of Michelin-starred restaurants and luxury hotels worldwide.
From their introduction, the double-walled glasses were acclaimed by leading chefs. We then naturally gravitated towards products designed for professional use, with ease of maintenance and increased durability.
Each glass product is handcrafted by an artisan with specialized expertise acquired through years of experience. Thanks to mouth-blown glass, each glass, bowl, or bottle made for you is unique. Silodesign™ glasses are guaranteed for life against moisture between the two walls, thanks to their silicone seal that ensures a watertight fit.
In 2020, Silodesign™ made a major breakthrough in the field of double-walled glasses and bottles by launching the patented "MODULES" range: single-walled glassware can be combined to create double-walled containers!
Silodesign™ has evolved its logo over time. From round, it is now also available in a square version. The brand is represented by these different logos. They are associated with the idea that diversity is important in life in general, as well as in creation in particular.
